Once a month, we send you an email with a handful of things to help make the month ahead a Certified Pretty Good Time.

An Easy Mom Win

The 4th is upon us! Check to see if your neighborhood or city has a fun (and free!) parade to enjoy, plan a cookout or a day at the pool, and pick a fun, festive activity!

As for festive attire (you know you want to), Julie snagged swimsuits for baby bro, little sis, big bro, and even dad at Target! Plus, the whole family got matching $5 USA shirts. And, can't forget the patriotic hair & body glitter and 4th of July Bingo! A festive time will be had, no doubt.

On the Menu

Summertime, and the living is easy hard being responsible for hungry humans. Julie recently hosted some friends and kiddos and whipped up this yummy fruit dip! Easy and tasty (sprinkles are always a win). Irene's mom whipped this delish Mediterranean sheet-pan chicken for her recently and she's been making it every week since. Plus, it's ridiculously easy—which you know we love.

What We're Bingeing

Irene just finished Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple TV+ and LOVED it. Julie finished The Wedding People last week and enjoyed it, too—an equal parts serious and sweet read for the summer.

Currently Saving Our Sanity

The summer heat is kicking in and we're so overly obsessed right now with electrolytes for our water (especially for breastfeeding mamas!). Julie's loving the Citrus Salt LMNT.

Something for Mom

This one's a splurge, but hear us out: schlepping stuff all over the Earth this summer just got so much easier with the Hulken bags. Can confirm, the medium is the perfect size. From road trips to dinner parties, pool adventures to park picnics—they make mom-ing in the summer so! much! easier!

Irene has her eyes on this number from Tuckernuck, but can't decide if she should buy the real deal or the knockoff on Amazon.

Julie's also loving these exfoliating pore pads. A great alternative to the $75 ones, and just as effective (in her humble opinion)!

Plan Ahead

It may seem like an eternity right now, but the Back-to-School buzz is only a month away! You'll be so grateful you started your hunt for your favorite back-to-school goodies—especially if you want something monogrammed.

Remember our pro-tip if you love shopping for school supplies, too: pick your battles, mama. Pick one or two things (like this adorable water bottle or these mighty cute lunchboxes) you love and buy them to surprise your child—then, succumb to all the cringey character-laden supplies.

Yours in good enough parenting,
